UNOSDP YOUTH LEADERSHIP CAMP - January 2012
From 9-19 January 2012 in Doha, Qatar, will take place the 2012 UNOSDP YOUTH LEADERSHIP CAMP, a pilot gathering of 30 young participants from Sub-Saharan Africa and the Palestinian Territory aimed at empowering them with practical leadership training and best practice examples from leading Sport for Development and Peace (SDP) experts.

The initiative is held under the auspices of Wilfried Lemke, the Special Adviser to the United Nations Secretary-General on Sport for Development and Peace, and is organized in collaboration with the NGO Right To Play and the Qatar-based organization Aspire.

The Special Adviser invites you to join him and a very diverse line-up of personalities and experts (including Right To Play CEO and four-time Olympic Gold Medalist, Johann Olav Koss, as well as experts from the Premier League, Liverpool FC, the German Agency for International Cooperation, the International Paralympic Committee, etc.) to report on this groundbreaking initiative.
